At Ryedale School, we believe that careers education is an essential part of the curriculum — not an addition to it. We aim to ensure that students understand the relevance of the subjects and skills they study, and how these connect to future career pathways. Across all subject areas, teachers highlight job opportunities and display career links in classrooms to help students make informed choices about their futures.
Our careers programme is shaped by the Gatsby Benchmarks, which provide a clear framework for delivering high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance. Through collaboration with employers, parents, and carers, we work to inspire every student to Aspire and Achieve in their next steps beyond Ryedale School.
